The Cells and "faith"

Your atoms make up molecules which make up tissue which make up cells which make up skin tissue which make up organs which make up systems (such as the nervous system), which make up a body.  Each one of those aspects must work together in harmony with faith for the system to continue and not break down. They must have unwavering faith that what they do will be for a higher good.  If they begin to act independently, attacking other cells or leaching onto the cells reproductive capability to grow at a rate for it's own purposes, this is known in the body as a disease.

Faith is necessary for survival of cells, or at least an entire "body" of cells. Similarly, for a particular system in reality, faith is necessary. The financial system breaks down for example when people lose faith that their money is there, or that the currency will be redeemable by others. Without faith in the court systems, the economy breaks down because people don't believe or have faith in things like the concept of "ownership". It works far beyond the economic system, or court system, but that is probably the easiest "system" for me to use to illustrate the importance of faith in ones self and one's fellow man/woman and/or in a particular "system".

The human species for survival needs not this exclusive "self interest" "survival of the fittest" mentality, or worse, using power to bring harm to other people. And they certainly don't need to only help others because of and through an aggressive "medium" of some sort. It is Synergy that allows us to be much more powerful by cooperation than by working independently. Self-interest can certainly within the right system collectively serve society in a productive way, but synergy allows there to be more influence and mutual beneficial assistance for a better world for everyone.

Now what I am still trying to learn and explore...

I think there is a great reality we are mostly unaware of that functions as a result of our efforts. In other words, if you think of individual cells working together in harmony with different sometimes separate functions to produce and maintain a healthy body as unaware of the results of it's effort and the larger collective as a metaphor for what humans do when we work together for the great cell known as the earth and the great unknown beyond the solar system and galaxies and universe, then perhaps you might get a general idea. Carl Jung had referenced a "collective unconscious" in relationship to cell inheritance when he talked about the "collective arm" but also alluded to a presence of a divine mind connecting basic archetypes together. Ralph Waldo Emerson discussed of an "over-soul". Adam Smith referred to an "invisible hand" but mostly referred only to the productive abilities of society and material, for societal and technological advancements and didn't really go beyond that. I believe in spite of man's attempt to hijack the natural tendency of humans to gather and rejoice spontaneously and believe in something greater, that a general sense of faith is a component of a healthy society. It is not about having to define it by a representational system such as language because it transcends that and incorporates many of the elements that wise men and woman have discussed. It is not about giving this greater collective a name. It is about harmonizing in love in that there is something greater and believing in faith and that everything will work out.  Cells work in harmony together to produce something greater than themselves and this concept is in many ways explained and defined by the word "synergy".

But although I have different ways of expressing my understanding, I still feel in many ways the initial video understands and explains it better, but this text can serve as a quick supplement for those without the time, only willing to skim and go back if they find it interesting.

Ultimately though, this is the intuitive knowledge and harmonious love that I feel in some ways transcends the basic 5 senses which are filtered through the amygdala and subject to delusion and manipulation and false associations and contradiction and biases that you really must "connect" with to like Neo, truely become "the one".

Learning To Unlearn 4

So ultimately learning to unlearn require:
1)Diet and exercise to counteract gluttony and compulsive responses of eating (much of which has already been preconditioned through various mediums) while maintaining a healthy body that is relaxed and not overly stressed from fear.
2)It requires an awareness to "see the code" and really understand how one learns through associations and what associations are formed on a regular basis as a learning process
3)It requires you tio take moments to "unwind" and sit in solitude or stimulate awakening sleep paralysis where body is asleep while mind is awake for higher cognitive functioning and relaxation.
4)This one requires you to develop a filter before reacting which means learning to stop, think about what you want to say in the mind first consciously, then say it afterwards so you can be clear and articulate. Learn to develop that same filter before you type something. Do this for at least 3-4 weeks to form a habit.
5)It also requires you to be very aware of everything that has been used "against you". By that I simply mean that has been an influencing factor in drawing about associations that form identity, belief systems, and paradigm that form the way you operate in reality. The reason I say it that way is because that occasionally may be against your best wishes or goals... even if you think it was of your own.

This part we will talk about subliminal influences. Then we will get into GOALS. Forming goals and eliminating the belief systems and re-framing them to be more consistent with those goals.

Subliminal influences get you to associate a particular topic or word or concept with a particular product. Check out this advertising leaked training manual for example. Knowing what you now know, you can recognize the neural association and you can now really understand some of the other things that also go on here to subconsciously get you to form concepts even bad for your health such as "cigarettes will save you" when you know that consciously they will only cause you the destruction and harm and early death. Unfortunately the concept is formed and repeated to potentially hold more significance than what you have been told or what you read in health class.

Unfortunately, subliminal images and subliminal sounds are not always visible when you know where to look or what theme they speak of. Actually most are far enough below conscious processing that even if you know exactly what to look for and where, you won't be able to see it. For example, here is a picture with a few shades of the same color. Each with a message and a number to illustrate the different shades.
Here you should be able to see all of them if you really look, but the first one you have to really look carefully. But what if I fine-toon the shades to have even smaller differences... and rather than use a darker color I start with the darker one?

How about now? How many can you count? I can consciously make out two really, but there are actually many more. I changed the hue or luminosity or the amount of red, blue, or green pixels a very small amount with no particular order and no numbers as a reference. I guarantee you there are over 5 instances of the word win in this photo that exist, but even if you know where to look you probably still won't see it. That is my point. You can draw it or type it and you can change the way you look at it, but ultimately it still is below what you can consciously notice. There appears to be no difference in shade or color but there is and your subconscious knows it. So some subliminal messages will just automatically form associations because your subconscious mind is able to notice and observe what your subconscious does not.

I read somewhere that your conscious mind is capable of processing about 2000 bits of information at a given moment, but your subconscious processes closer to 2 million. This is what your brain needs to be able to do in order to form connections and explanations. The sound "train" or even the word as you read it has multiple meanings but if someone says it they could easily be saying two words "to rain" or "terrain" or "someone with the last name "Torain". The brain actually simultaneously subconsciously holds multiple meanings and then must compose the most relevant and likely one and brings it into conscious awareness automatically. In the case of optical illusions we can clearly observe that it isn't always right and will cause you to hallucinate a reality that isn't there (the perception of a lighter shade that is just shaded by light rather than an equal or darker shade with the false perception of shadow).  But it needs to learn very in depth association so  it can recognize multiple permutations of ways things could occur. A spider could look much different than another spider you saw before. You may not know which one is dangerous and poisonous but you require the ability to avoid it even if it crawls differently and moves differently across a much different background in a different part of your eye. The brain needs the ability to do this (they say the brain will "assimilate" similar data), but in the process it means on a regular basis multiple things will probably slip right by you without you realizing what your brain/subconscious is doing or how it is learning. Most people are not prepared to be conscious of everything, or they could not handle it all. Unfortunately this can be used against you though. Fortunately if you learn to re-examine and reconsider and re-associate and become like Neo and "see the code" and be able to change it you will be able to make tremendous strides.

It's important to understand what you have probably already been taught that "the nervous system doesn't distinguish between a real and imagined event". But you also need to understand that "imagined event" can be substituted for the word "image of the event" or "simulated projected reality(movie) of the event" For example...

One of these two image likely caused your heart rate to either race faster or skip a beat. In fact, you may have even looked ahead and stopped reading what you were as a natural response to assess the threat. Maybe even both had an effect if your fight or flight response system is sensitive enough to look for potential threats after seeing the first one. That is the fight or flight response. It may not have triggered for everyone or have triggered nearly as much as it would in a real situation when facing danger. Yet either way there is at least some emotional response or freakout. My guess is, it probably isn't the picture of a non-threatening picture of a bag with a picture on the bag that gets you the most, though and this is actually a valuable lesson to be understood here.

I hope you are prepared to learn this for yourself, rather than simply to tell you. To tell you would mean you are depending upon an external source to come to greater awareness, where as allowing you to find this on your own would be  enabling your own creative power to learn to recognize what is going on. Unfortunately not everyone will get this. Please stop and reflect on this for awhile and see what understanding you get to. answer "why does the picture of the bag of the less threatening saber tooth tiger appear so much less threatening and have minimal if any effect on your nervous system"? Answer that before continuing.

Hint, how closely associated with a "threat" is a picture of a picture of something and how threatening is a smaller size? and How threatening is something staring you down? There are many answers here, try to get as many as you can.

The main reason is how strong the association is with a particular threat. By converting memory into a less threatening mental picture, you can control how memories impact you as you disassociate yourself from the threat. The one image looks like a direct threat or at least is a picture on a computer screen of what seems to be a threat. But the picture of a bag on a computer screen which has a picture on the bag of a picture of a depiction of a illustration of a non-threatening size of a similar image does not have the effect because of all the layers of "disassociation".

When you can learn to disassociate, you can learn to "cancel" or at least decrease the effects of a particular association. When you learn to be conscious of what is occurring subliminally you also may be more able to reject the association.

This is just one of many mental techniques, that can be intuitively understood once you learn to develop your own creative force and connection to the self and "spirit", but can help you to learn how to take control of your own brain. Disassociation means changing the location of the threatening image or memory, changing the colors of it to make it black and white or less real. Changing the sounds associated with it and perhaps replacing them with artificial funny sounding characters, rather than threatening ones, changing the size and shrinking it to reduce the effects and changing the feeling of it by imagining a different experience that is more neutral and associating that experience with it. The one problem is if it is a phobia and for example you are afraid of rats and you associate that with say a beach of waves crashing in, you not only may reduce the feeling of rats but may also intensify and generate a phobia of water. You have linked the scary phobia with the peaceful waves that rather than disassociating the rats, you have associated the waves. You have to disassociate the image and make it non threatening first, and you also have to do this from a mental state where the fight or flight is not active and then you can make an association. Some psychologists and "trained hypnotists" have tried to get smokers to replace their desire for smoking with something they really dislike such as cod liver oil and instead they just compulsively drink cod liver oil instead of smoking rather than not wanting to use or consume either.  But you really have the internal power, and just telling you what to do is not the same as enabling you to see how to be inspired to learn on your own how to control your mind from this understanding. So you have to be aware of what is going n in your mind and how the fears and phobias and addiction and things you feel neutral about work. If you try to associate pleasure with something dangerous, you can just develop the desire to seek dangerous situations out, rather than reducing how you feel about these threats so you are less irrational.  So this is why it is very important that you understand how the mind works first and know the context from which you must apply this technique.

Since your mind mostly uses representational systems to represent the reality around you, you can do some amazing things just by using your imagination. This is how you can just imagine new associations to cover over the old ones and really essentially reprogram your mind. Unfortunately, this is also how associations are created for you without you being consciously aware sometimes even no matter how you try.

For example, there are some "subliminal whispers" that even if you listen the sound is too soft and below conscious threshold. Sometimes the images that you see are too similar to notice a distinction between two colors and a 97% transparent image will be drawn over the initial image. Some layers will be obvious (but only after you know where to look) others will no matter how hard you look not be visible.

So now that you know this, you can recognize the beliefs you have, aren't entirely yours. The emotions are sometimes just programmed or preprogrammed triggers. Accept no shame or guilt for those reinforce the cycle. Instead, begin to heal. Do you think people really want to be addicted to destructive behaviors? Is that in the best interest of survival?  Beliefs are formed through experience, situation, association and then using those systems you might then rationalize according to how aware you are. When you realize this, you can form new goals consistent with what you want. The problem that I wrestle with is... If I mostly am a composition of associations that were constructed primarily through circumstance, how can I define that a desire is actually mine? Well, you can't, which is why you must get a handle on the greater reality. I think kids are naturally born wanting to use their abilities to help others. It is only when something gets taken from them or they get scared that they at some point, rather than giving away their favorite toy to make people happy, they look at it and pull it away and say "MINE!" That is when many begin to see things (materialistically) as something they want because others have them or because they want it for themselves, and unfortunately that desire is misguided and not really true to the nature we are born with before a false sense of threat is introduced. Give a kid something then rip it away forcefully in a way that scares him, and that is when he is trapped. Instead make him aware that it is temporary, give him time to give it to you back after the time is up, or let him know he will have to put away the toy and he is more likely to be understanding.

And so before I get into goals I want to cover a few other things to really explain this all the way that I feel I need to. Afterall giving people the keys before they know how to drive is very dangerous, you must learn this first. You must learn how to walk and develop the strength and balance before you can run.

Learning To Unlearn 3

So you've seen "the matrix" of your mind and you've seen a little of what it looks like outside of the matrix. You've learned to deprogram a bit and how to form your own neural associations in a mental state conducive to higher cognitive ability.

Now you have a choice. Take the blue pill and believe whatever you want to believe. Or take the red pill and see how far down the rabbit hole goes.

To take the "blue pill" leave this site now. To take the "Red pill" continue on reading.

 Still Here? Great.... "Follow me".

Now that you understand from before about the brain and the process of learning, I want to go deeper. We all know what letters are. They are represented by a phonetic symbol which can be written in lowercase print, uppercase print, lowercase cursive, uppercase cursive, be given a particular sound, and that sound will change depending upon the context of the letter within a particular word. Each word we associate with other words as well as an image or images of the particular thing(s) the word represents. These are all associations. Sounds associated with symbols that make up some form of a letter which form together to make words which associate with things or concepts. We could go deeper as well and talk about how words were derived from old Greek languages or whatever the earliest language is that they can be found to have been derived from, or perhaps even further back in time to cave drawings and sounds. But I will stop here. As I explained a bit in the first post "the mind", these phonetic symbols can represent entire words which have a particular set of meanings open to interpretation of various things that are then associated with other sights, images, and associations that ultimately form neural nets as the video in learning to unlearn part 2 showed.

The concepts and connections ultimately with the awareness of time, existence, and other things ultimately forms awareness and consciousness that can be altered both along with the particular wave length of the brain waves as well as the internal chemical releases that occur in these different states as well as the construct of individual associations. Drugs can alter consciousness and the chemical makeup not necessarily because of the drug's influence on the mind, but the body's reaction to them to release chemicals that already exist naturally in the mind for different purposes. So it's mostly all an internal function.

Now the most common "natural drug" that people probably experience is the adrenaline from the fight or flight response.  If you want to unlearn you must first learn how the mind occasionally alters states and actually decreases it's cognitive ability and how to counter the effects.

I will keep it brief. The fight or flight response is a release of hormones, an elevated heart rate, and a redirection of bloodflow to your feet along with an increase of paranoia and awareness concentrated on identifying the threat and the best means of dealing with it. While the mind may become more concentrated at the task at hand and at dealing with the fear, it becomes less intune with more complex mental cognitive abilities. Unfortunately fight or flight is designed for dealing with a physical threat, not a mental one. As a result some people never are able to fully "relieve" themselves of this stress and that can lead to all kinds of unhealthy reactions and mental states and chronic stress.

One of the ways for dealing with this stress is rigorous exercise. Since fighting or fleeing involves physical activity... ultimately exercise can help many of the effects to subside this. Exercise results in the release of positive chemicals such as dopamine and serotonin to be released in the brain to reinforce this healthy activity and counter the effects of fight or flight and stressful chemicals released in the bloodstream. A rest period afterwards may be needed however to bring the heart rate down and really be able to relax afterwards.

The problem with the fight or flight response is you will look through paranoid eyes and see it through a filter of everything having some sort of danger to it. You will be stuck in the preditor-prey mentality. This is very unproductive towards you being able to connect with the "synergy" (multiple parts working to be greater than the sum of its parts), and to learn on your own as it will make you more likely to be just reacting to circumstance, keeping yourself trapped in "the matrix" and kept in fear. Now you can see fear is the manipulator used to enforce itself upon structure. It is damaging to the whole and it will come back to the individuals using them, but for the time being, those trapped in the matrix of "me vs the world" mentality are doomed to be the manipulator, likely because they were manipulated at one time or another, and may continue to be whether they know it or not.

The "fight or flight" response is necessary at times, but ask yourself, why would people courageously and almost automatically over ride this to save lives spontaneously? Why would a human dive in and help someone drowning out of urgency or rush into a burning building and put themselves first? why would a goose do everything it can to protect it's children from harm? It never was about "survival of the fittest", particularly as individuals, or there would never be a survival instinct at risk of one's own demise that completely over rides any fear which programs one to be self serving. I understand there will be disagreements, and I understand why, but trust on this that there is something greater than the individual in this realm and be patient and you are going to see it for yourself when the time comes.

Every day people drive to work in traffic that poses a mild form of a physical threat that seems much more significant. The biggest problem is they never send the signal to alleviate the trigger! What's more, the aggressive driving and honking horns that results, often puts everyone else into that state. Then they will be put in situations with heightened aggression and have to deal with bosses and employees, and conflict that they cannot resolve for the sake of their financial health they must repress the natural urge to flee or fight. They deal with deadlines, stresses, and many of them have developed a dependency on caffeine (a stimulant) to stay awake and alert which heightens their nervous system and responses to stress and makes it more sensitive, and more likely to trigger fight or flight. The withdrawal of caffeine and desire for more can also trigger a lighter, less dangerous, but still significant stage of addiction and withdrawal including an inability to focus to the extent one needs to. They are trapped.

Although moments of solitude and spending time alone perfectly still with time to reflect with increased cognitive ability may be helpful, you also want periods of the opposite when you are perhaps running, exercising or exerting force for extended periods of time prior to relaxation. If you are able to combat the effects of the subconscious you can learn to reflect on your own.

The mind filters everything through the amygdala. This way if you see something move in the room you can react to it before you even process and consciously realize what it is. If you for example have ever had that adrenaline go when you think you saw a spider or perhaps actually did, you know what I am talking about. The amygdala during fight or flight is hyperactive, constantly looking for a threat. When this and fear is triggered, you also will actually remember things more clearly as a result of a greater association and significance applied to things that go on during this time period. This is designed to protect you. If whenever your life is threatened you (physically) remember how best to respond, you will be better positioned to deal with a similar circumstance. This still applies with mental and emotional threats that are not physical as well, but are usually not as necessary.

So the fear tactic is actually a powerful form of manipulation, and the adrenaline rush can actually also be somewhat addictive. Remember that a TV show or movie is like a projected memory and thus responded to as if it is a real event to the subconscious.  Combine this with some subliminal advertising and people can actually be addicted to scary movies or develop the desire or compulsion to watching them, and the heightened memory that occurs so that an individual will be prepared to deal with it next time creates much more significance of the associations made in the mind during fear. As a result people may potentially put too much emphasis on "avoiding pain" and "avoiding dangers" in situations in which they have experienced a lot of fear, or misrepresent how best to proceed in the future based upon a few unfortunate circumstances. And people watch TV to relax since it tends to put them in an alpha state!

Remember, these neural associations are created because the subconscious mind takes in everything and stores it for later recollection and will make associations through certain sensory input that is reinforced into neural networks the more those associations come up over time. The networks reconnect and associate to others, so the more neural associative networks are created and connected together with a common  association, the more likely that association will connect all areas together and be triggered by more and more things, the more it becomes a thought that you think came from you, an idea which connects those thoughts that you think you constructed, and is reinforced into a belief and entire paradigm. In the same way most people don't understand how language works, in the same way they may not understand how learning works, through the same means that people don't understand where thoughts, ideas and beliefs come from so they misattribute it to their own originality, the process of organizing data, stimulating emotions, and elliciting responses is already automatically conditioned over enough of these associations. That is how they get you to watch horror films, then mke you feel guilty for it after the fact, and link it to shame and guilt, and other compulsions and addictions and how the cycle feeds upon itself. They are being partly honest in the same manner when they say that subconscious messages and hypnosis cannot "make you" do anything you don't want, but they aren't telling you that they will associate something you already want with what they want, and their will be a strong emotional compulsion that they can tap into and connect with to manipulate you into the system where you will be subjected to even further manipulation. It cannot do this for you, but it is only a matter of time before your mind assimilates data in that manner it was made to do.

YES, subliminal messages are constructed "to sell" products, but it also reinforces ideas and beliefs and reactions, emotions and paradigms which will be associated with compulsory behavior, autonomic responses, and preprogramed responses/reactions.

It's important that you know for the next step, how to disassociate yourself from the fear reaction and also how to maintain the health and reduced stressed more in detail. For now, you might need to take some time to work off the fight or flight response through exercise, even if it is simple  chair pushups and air squats and then take some time to reflect upon this from the right emotional state, and really begin to access your own understanding  from a perspective of compassion and understanding and get ready for the next one.

The Body - Eyes and Vision

The mind associates inputs that we get from our 5 senses, which could be said to be the antenna of our minds.  It is the body that produces these signals and relays them to the mind. What we see is not what's there, but our brain's interpretation of what we think we see. This is why everything and the life people live is mostly just in their heads, not outside of themselves, and where the metaphor for the matrix at a basic level comes in. Everything by that understanding is a projection.

The body is far more complex than just the organs responsible for the 5 senses, but I will start with those.

Visual sight

The first organ in the body I will talk about is the eyes.. The visual cortex of our mind in the occipital lobe is what constructs the image in our brains but only based upon the signals given through our eyes. The eyes interprets light waves that hit. Sometimes the mind can give ourselves a false reading which causes hallucination or seeing something that isn't visible to others. But I want you to not rule out that perhaps some can learn to see what would otherwise be filtered out by most through the visual system.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_system
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_perception
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_illusion
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_cortex
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerebral_cortex
 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occipital_lobe

This lack of actually seeing what's there and instead just seeing a representational system that appears to be what we are seeing is what causes optical illusions.  Our minds literally will tell us something is different then it really is. We will see two exact copies of color look like white and black when they are both gray due to the illusion of shadow and light.

The above image the A square and the B square are exactly the same shade. Our mind attempts to compensate for the context of their being "shadow". But in reality a shadow merely makes things appear to be darker than they are. In a drawing we can't caste a shadow on paper and instead must darken the shade. In drawings they actually ARE darker than they appear.
Many will think this is a trick, so do this for yourself. Copy it into microsoft paint and circle the squares and bring them over, or else use the find the color tool and draw two lines for each color. They are the same. Your mind is not seeing things as they are but attempting to compensate for shadow that isn't there.

Illusions especially works with 2 dimensional images but can also work in what we perceive to be 3-d reality.

(brain games on the history channel features many illusions like this and many others)

Learning To Unlearn 2

In order to really understand and come into knowledge of what I want to teach you, you have to learn to understand why biases are formed and how the brain works so you can learn to recognize them, and have faith that they exist, and learn to see past them intuitively. Otherwise you all will have different ways of perceiving in a way that creates biases, and any sort of so called "objectivity" may just be the paradigm according to biases everyone is guilty of reinforcing itself. If we had not the technology to recognize that there is a spectrum of frequency making up light waves and sound waves, we would be blind to radio waves, x-rays, gamma waves, and infrared waves and other waves outside of our perception of conscious understanding. Forget ways to describe and explain it beyond it, you need not take this specific explanation entirely linearly and try to rationalize how some may be able to discover these waves exist. In a world where no one had the technology or awareness to discover this existence, any suggestion of these facts would be considered "blasphamous", "unscientific" or "lunacy".  Any consensus peer review may have rejected any and every idea that there is something beyond our understanding. That is not to dismiss the objectivity entirely that exists in science and say the alternative of emotion rather than rational s in anyway superior, for that too, is a path to extreme individual biases as well. Nevertheless, continuing with that as a metaphor, it is conceivable that there are things outside of the realm of our understanding of 5 sense beyond just the linear understanding of "waves" that we have developed, just like a world outside of the "matrix", only this extends beyond just frequency and 3 dimensions and time and/or space. You may not be able to rationalize or connect with it logically until you are in position to experience it yourself.

Ultimately, all we can do is the best we have with the tools we have, but we need to begin to recognize that the tools we have certainly are not perfect, and quit using them as a means to be condescending to each other regardless of if it is religion and faith or science or even intuition which combines ones awareness including the awareness of bias and respect for the external which has a separate set of filters and understandings of the world as a part of something greater. The religion and science polarity is one that is a part of the very same system that you have been blinded by, so to argue for coke vs pepsi in other words is being blinded by the marketing ploy (again, a metaphor here, no need to argue that you can tell a difference between the two colas, or that science and religion are very different in their own ways, I know that. Yet, they are still a part of the paradigm of this "matrix" to understand the world through the ego as they have been taught, and you are still directly or indirectly subjected to biases. The most difficult thing is describing that to many object oriented, literal thinking scientists. Keep in mind it is good scientists that will say "no single experiment can ever prove me right, but a single experiment could prove me wrong". Meanwhile, there are also those that were considered nutcases, frauds, charletans, etc by the "system". They were only vindicated after death whether it be Galileo, young Einstein, Nikola Tesla, George Zweig, or Ludwig Boltzmann. Some rejected by science itself, others by religion. Additionally, there are many great minds including and other than Tesla that we may never know that never got the political or financial clout to get the funding or resources they needed to pursue what they knew, or could have proven to be true.

Unfortunately, that won't allow you to see things the way I intend to teach them. If Person A were to speak of any particular belief that person B is preconditioned to be against, Person B would immediately reject it and be unable to see the things the two disagree with, and only be able to really compute the information consistent with the belief system. This is one of the functions of the "reticular activating system".

So first check out this video on how the brain creates neural associations.

So... that seems to be the current scientific paradigm of how we currently view some basic functions of the mind and is one of the systems with which you are dealing with. An individual's mind already has all kinds of individual associations that may or may not be entirely accurate representations. The concept of anything between two people and how they represent this concept will almost never be the exact same. In order to "unlearn" you have to be able to really "get" this JUST for starters, even if it is just an intuitive understanding that you are NOT immune to biases. The sooner you recognize this the earlier you can begin to advance even more in your depth of understanding.

If you are going to cancel your past conditioning long enough to be able to see beyond your current paradigm, you will have to learn how these associations can be influenced. But before you do I also want you to start to develop the habit of considering before reacting, of fully allowing yourself to digest all this information before making any sort of reflection on this. What young people may not realize is how little time they have before they become just a programmed "slave" to their own systems which are created. Just a predetermined vehicle that responds based upon the patterns influenced and created and reinforced many, many times over the course of their young lives. That does not mean that you cannot free yourself from this and form new habits. The brain, although much less malleable at an older age, always remains malleable. New habits and neural-cortical pathways can always be formed, so it is never too late, just a greater difficulty level. If you are to communicate with someone.... slow down. Get in the habit of saying what you want to say in your mind first before you say it out loud.

There is a perception that it only takes 3 weeks to form a habit. That probably depends on how young you are and the "neuroplasticity of the mind". It is possible for simple affirmations to begin to assimilate to the point in which it becomes reinforced enough to continue, but it still may take a little effort to initiate those patterns. Research shows habits take an average of 65 days or so to become automatic, but the range is very large depending on the habit and individual participant. But stick with it, for to be more conscious is to be more free and more capable of bettering yourself.

That all starts with finding some time to really unwind. If you can, take 30 minutes to an hour of just sitting alone in solitude, absolutely still. That can prevent you from getting into a frazzled "high beta" mental state. Even if you have a particular itch or discomfort, refrain from scratching it as much as you can stand it. Allow your body to eventually reach the state so that your feet begins to fall asleep or even your entire body while your mind stays alert. This is considered a mild form of "sleep paralysis" once it grows enough. You need not exactly reach this state the first time, however just be aware that your brain will be much more capable of superior thought if you can reach that state. What is happening is that your body requires less bloodflow to your legs and arms as it rests to prevent you from acting out your dreams. In the process, the bloodflow stays in your core and vitals including your heart and your brain. As a result there is more oxygen to your mind and you are more capable of complex thought. I have derived this understanding, but verified it after the fact. This is what connecting to the great intuitive mind may allow. Greater intelligence and ability to consider thoughts outside of your own paradigm. This is why many geniuses often found great revelations while in an altered stat or in a dream. More importantly, this is about allowing yourself time to really reflect and draw your own associations and conclusions about whatever comes to mind and strengthen your intuition and cognitive abilities.

If you merely learn as most people do... in a rush, on a schedule, on caffeine to stay alert, stressed out and reacting, you are not in control of your own life. If you want to be your own person, while also tapping into something greater, it is time to change all that. This exercise along with the understandings of this post is a great start... but I have ranted on long enough and it is a lot to take in, so take some time to review this and reflect upon it.

Learning to unlearn Part 1

The ability for the mind to learn is spectacular... "unlearning" on the other hand is much more difficult. A habit can be formed in a few weeks, but may take years and years to unlearn. Some people may never successfully unlearn certain habits, even at the expense of their survival. (drug addiction for example).

As we age in life we learn more and form more associations and connections. We are much more likely to just respond to the set of neural nets and signals we have created and that have been developed as a reaction to stimuli. Even now I have to control myself from just typing this without consciously closely examining what it is that I want to say. It takes a long time (several weeks) of consciously doing this before it becomes a habit, and then we must re-examine our approach all over again to be more contemplative, reflective and then deliberate.

You see, all throughout life we observe. Those observations along with what we project form the memories from which we subconsciously form associations, identities, belief systems and paradigms of thought. For meaningful and productive change, you must take your entire paradigm and change it. If you are not actively reflecting upon the associations you have come to, and the conclusions that you instinctively draw, you are as Morpheus puts it "a slave" to "The Matrix". In other words, a victim of circumstance rather than someone in control of his own destiny and in control over his or her own expressions and ability to creatively express one's freedom and individuality. I am not referring to the individuality that is given to them through the formation of the ego through people associating who they erroneously believe they "are", that would just be a program that believes it is expressing its "self". So you see there are many traps and tricks that people fall into.

Once you recognize "The Matrix" in your mind and it's existence, you then must learn to "see the code" as Neo did before becoming "like new". This means learning how the brain forms associations to construct understandings. In addition to learning how a brain works, you must also learn to see your own code. Specifically with every conclusion and meaning and association you form, you must learn how those realizations came to be, and whether or not they are valid.

The matrix movie is full of duel meanings (and sometimes many more meanings). "Neo" quite literally means "new". He worked for a computer company as a programmer called "Meta-Cortex"
Meta= "denoting a change of position or condition."
Cortex="the outer layer of the cerebrum (the cerebral cortex ), composed of folded gray matter and playing an important role in consciousness." Then there is the "neocortex" of the mind. The "neocortex" is the part of the mind responsible for learning and memorization. Neo required a transcendence of the old paradigm through "meta" morphism.

In other words Thomas A. Anderson (nickname/hackername Neo) is a new programmer of the mind who is able to change the condition of consciousness as Neo was selected as "the one" (perhaps the one to (re)make anew?). Why was Neo so advanced and so ahead of everyone else at the given stages of his training? Particularly in terms of the fight scene when sparing with Morpheus and why was he able to transcend the construct of the "computer code" when inside "the construct" or their own independent form of "the matrix" independent of the system? Because he was a "programmer" himself and could recognize the limitations of his own "program", even if he wasn't necessarily able to see everything around him as code right away and recognize that even outside of the traditional medium, there was still programming on a higher level going on that he could tap into.

Once you really learn to understand this, you will quite literally be able to "upload" understandings in your mind. Perhaps you won't instantly be able to say, like Neo did, "I know kung-fu" in all instances, or instantly know how to be a helicopter pilot with a simple upload as these things may require things like muscle memory, strength, conditioning and physical attributes that won't immediately be present. However, you certainly can derive the understanding of concepts to understand conclusions in a very similar manner in where it is an instantaneous expression of source that you tap into. You will be able to intuitively make connections and derive understandings of sometimes ingenious ideas and come to a state of "knowing" independently of having to memorize some book on the matter. You will learn to derive past understandings, form your own neural connections and see things separate from the influences and biases that are everywhere and that as you will see are sometimes "pre-programmed" through external medium because the "system" "wants" you to behave this way just as when Neo "woke up" he could see how people were being manipulated used, reproduced as replications and drained while their own expression was asleep and their energy was being drained. Of course, this is just a metaphor, remember, you will have to learn the true meaning in your own time.

The Mind

If you want to live life for what it is, and not what it seems to be, first you have to know that you are quite literally in a form of a "matrix" as represented in the popular movie. The way one lives is only according to his or her perceptions. We come to know reality only by metaphorical zeros and ones. You see, either our electromagnetic signals charge through a neuron and travel through the neuro-cortical pathways, or not at all. Similarly, a computer works with a series of on-off switch where either the signal is on or off. By connecting the series of on-off switches, the computer runs through and provides a particular signal according to it's software programming. The matrix can be a metaphor for many things, but I find the one that works best is describing the mind. It is an imperfect representation as computers don't have "holographic memory" and the circuits aren't capable of entirely reorganizing entire sets of circuits to form a net of new connections where there previously existed none, but it is close. Should computers evolve to holographic memory and be constructed to more represent the mind through nets of connections rather than always a direct on or off link as I imagine they will in the future, the metaphor would be almost perfect. Even so, it is probably the best metaphor I can think of to describe the mind and how it processes data.

You see, "programming" is done by our input... our senses. We perceive according to the signals we get, and according to reinforcements of various signals, our brain adapts and programs itself according to our memories and experience.

We learn through association. You may associate the natural loving state you are born with and the connection with your mother to the visual input your eyes get from seeing her as well as her saying something like "come to mommy", you eventually learn not only that the word "mommy" represents your mother, but how to say your first word "mommy". Eventually you learn to associate much more words by what they seem to be and the word that represents them and you learn to combine these words to form phrases, sentences and much more to develop deeper meaning and to ask questions and communicate at a very high level. But ultimately everything that is defined is done so by association. Then you learn to associate those words and the sound those words make with visual symbols, and you also learn each individual word is represented by multiple letters and you learn the sound that those letters make. Much of what we are going to come to understand in life has to do with the understanding of language, since we only then learn to define reality with words, rather than what it seems to be. The words we use to represent memories and experiences, change our understanding of reality to be a bit more indirect, but in the process it allows us conscious communication and to create images in other people's mind based upon their representational system of lanauge which is very similar in nature, and as such although there are a few instances where a general conceptual word like "American" or "liberty" can mean entirely different things to different people, for the most part communication is consistent enough to where we are communicating on the same level most of the time. This representational system of language is derrived from another representational system... our basic 5 senses. Our 5 senses are not what we are "seeing" "tasting" "smelling" "feeling" and "hearing", but only an interpretation of waves at different frequencies that various organs such as our eyes, tongue, nose, skin and ears interpret. The interpretation occurs in the brain after these organs relay the signal to the brain which then associates them with something else to construct the mental model such as a mental image that we "see", rather than "seeing" reality itself.

The matrix could go extremely far and continue to disassociate further and further from reality itself. Our "reality" is only what our 5 senses tell us... if we are verifying our reality is "real" by our 5 senses, it lacks objectivity. Even if someone "tells us" "reality is real", YOUR understanding is only your interpretation of what your 5 senses tell you... But that is only based upon how you believe your brain works. Why? Because you were "told" or taught that? The matrix could also represent our imagination as our subconscious doesn't distinguish between a real and vividly imagined event. It could be the representational system derived from the TV which is a simulation or projected of an imagination of our 5 senses involving really just sight and sound that our subconscious  doesn't distinguish between a real and imagined event, which is why we can still "feel scared" while watching a scary movie, even though consciously we know it's not real.

The matrix can also become closer and closer to reality, but I don't think it ends at the 5 senses in as far as "learning" goes, but that is as close as most people go.

However, while it doesn't end there, this particular blog post does.

The Inspiration behind this Blog

I wanted a spot where I can both type, as well as post youtube videos and at some point possibly create my own and upload them to youtube. This will be the website in which I share the message that I feel necessary. I am not only doing this for you but also for my own self exploration of the topic (but as you will see, the reason is the same, an expression of spirit).

The inspiration of all of these posts initially came from the messenger who's teachings/works can be seen here.

Where has he gone? I don't know. He claimed he wouldn't be on youtube for long, and that he preferred doing things in person rather than over the internet. Regardless, I want to continue some of his works and still have more to really learn to understand it myself.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will probably refer to his works a lot. You may see a lot of similarities because I think he has described things as well as anyone else. But you will see different ways I go about it, and slightly different approaches, and certainly some different shades of understandings that are communicated. I will also try to be original because it's all about not becoming just a "clone" or a "Mr. Smith" to use the Matrix metaphor, and is about finding your individuality and originality outside of all the sources of influence in many ways, even though it's about so much more. I will be starting from scratch on my own because I have my own ways to explain what I think is a very similar message. I will try to just refer to the Jonathan videos if I feel I have nothing to add myself.
